Grammar For Grownups
A review of the parts of speech and all those little dots and dashes of punctuation. Includes a look at spelling (what a horror in American English!) and examines ways to improve writing. Just Words - The Us and Them Thing
An awareness exercise to look at the ways our language discriminates against others who aren't just like Us. Take a moment to describe the stereotypes that fill our language, the subtle ways we regard others with words, and consider some alternatives. With proper attention, inclusive language can secure family harmony, ensure social justice, and even attain world peace - one word at a time!

Writing Your Way
A workshop to boost your writing efforts and move you into completing a writing project. Includes organization of ideas, writing style, and attention to words. For beginners and professionals alike!
