"Did I Say What I Think I Just Said?" - A workshop based on Val's book, Just Words - The Us and Them Thing
An awareness exercise to look at the ways our language discriminates against others who aren't just like Us. Take a moment to describe the stereotypes that fill our language, the subtle ways we regard others with words, and consider some alternatives. With proper attention, inclusive language can secure family harmony, ensure social justice, and even attain world peace - one word at a time!
